(this blog took me forever)

Last week we also went into Guatemala city.
We visted the National Palace and the Guatemalan city dump, its not just a place for the cities garbage, but people who cant afford land find themselves having to live in the dump. As you can see this has been going on for years. The people have found a way to wire in electricity, and the area is slowly becoming a whole town. The people that end up moving into the dump usually end up making the dump their job. Everyday they
go into the dump that search for iteams they can sell to other people who have set up recycling shops near the dump. It is a whole cycle that continues on from generation to generation, and it is never hard to get out of the loop.

Here is me in Antigua. Dad, you would like this, they have this whole area set up as anew and used books sale every week end (its huge!!)
